Beach Day

On Monday.. It was 32 degrees. So we've decided to go to the beach. and we chose hampton beach. it was a really really quiet beach. It seems odd to come to a beach which is really quite. However, we certainly enjoying ourselves by swimming and playing beach soccer.

Australia Day ~ Aussie Open

Australia Day ~ the day australian celebrate what's great about australia and being australian!
Aussie Open ~ errr... the day when australia is open to other people.. hah hah.. dak aih... It's a World Class Tennis Tournament. This year they're celebrating one hundred years of Australian Open!
The day started on 12 pm for me... he he.. went to Flinders Street and meet up with Cali, Usop n Nan... U have to take tram number 70 to go to Rod Laver Arena.tram laing aku tak tau..  This is where Aussie Open is. Bought the ticket last week .it costs us $15 each. Not bad uh? coz we've managed to watch 3 matches.
Match 1 ~ Women's Singles - Qtr. Finals
Nathalie Dechy (FRA)[19] def. Patty Schnyder (SUI)[12] 5-7 6-1 7-5
I really don't know who they are actually but I've managed to get couple of pic Nathalie and Patty playing! he he.. world ranking number 25 for Nathalie and number 14 for Patty Schnyder. however.. my favourite player of the match lost. 
2nd Match ~ Women's Doubles - Semis
Lindsay Davenport (USA)[15] def. Gabriela Navratilova (CZE)/
/Corina Morariu (USA)[15] Michaela Pastikova (CZE)
3-6 6-2 6-3
Lindsay Davenport... number 1 in world ranking... and she walks very fast! we can't even get her autograph.. however Usop n Nan managed to get her partner's autograph.. which is Corina Marariu.. and I end up with an empty ball. darn!
3rd Match ~ Women's Doubles - Semis
Svetlana Kuznetsova (RUS)[6]/ def. Anastasia Myskina (RUS)[7]/
Alicia Molik (AUS)[6] Vera Zvonareva (RUS)[7]
6-2 6-3
Alicia Molik.. world ranking number 12. win the women's double in straight set!
after the games... we went to federation square to watch fireworks and some shows. lepas tu... lepas tu.. panas wei... kitorang balik ah!

New Year's Celebration

31st December . It would be the last day of the year 2004... what do we do on the last day of the year 2004? hmmm.. me and chali went to RichMaha for dinner... we met Eiman who now is working 6 days a week in Richmaha.. before we leave we manage to get some free samosa and curry puff from Uncle.. he he...
After that... we went back to Bob's House... eh.. bang Mat's or Chali's Houze...then.. we take a tram to the city.. guess what? It's free untill 3 am in da morning... the we meet up with Nan, Adi and Tini at Federation Square... the last stop for the tram is at Art's Centre... and it took us around half an hour to get to the Federation Square... there is a lot of people on the bridge goin to Fed Square...it is really massive!!
We met Nan around 10.30 pm and watch a band performs on the stage.. They said the band is called the Cat Empire.. never heard the name.. but I think i know one or two songs played by them.. it is a really good performance by Cat Empire.. hmmm....trippy...
12.00... nobody in fed square is making the countdown as there is no clock near the stage..except probably one in flinders station.. but nobody could see it from there... we know it is a the Year 2005 is when they start firing the fireworks.. love the fireworks.. then we stay there for a while... we went for a coffee at Golden Tower... and had to wait about 45 minutes for da drinks...damn waiter!.. after one horrible drink.. we went back home around 3 o'clock. fun huh?
wish you guys were here... all da orange boys...

Farewell, good friend.

20th October 2004. We say goodbye (well, not really... he's only going home!) to our dear friend Syed Tariq after nearly two years spent together in Melbourne. Most of us will be meeting him again soon enough, so i wonder what's all the fuss' all about? macam nak hantar orang gi naik kapal Haji pun ada....
Anyway, we all had a smashing time (except maybe for Atuk, who can't seem to beat a 4 year-old playing Gameboy!). Good Luck, Syed, and God Bless!!

Date : 2nd October 2004
Malam Gemilang nih di anjurkan oleh Kelab UMNO Melbourne (KUAM). Bersempena dengan theme 60's maka berduyun2 lagi anak2 Upton , Caulfield, Hawthorn n Brunswick turun ke Prahran (sebut betul2... Prhan) Town Hall. Ada yang pakai macam Ahmad Jais, ada yang pakai macam P. Ramlee (Syed) tapi yang agak cool n macam samseng tahun 60 an.. adalah Ijam... he he... anyway.. walaupun Nuri Imnogma kalah dalam pertandingan Talent Time di Malam Nih, tapi kira ok lah jugak sebab dapat perform.. overall performance.. ok laaa.. walaupun ada sikit cacat cela.. boleh diperbetulkan... KUAM kena improve lebih sket. chers.

Okeh.. dengan berpakaian traditional sorang2... maka berduyun2 lah manusia datang dari upton n hawthorn ke Malaysian Night yang di anjurkan oleh MASCA... Overall... Malaysian Night nih best lah jugak walaupun tak menang tiket balik m'sia.. terbang duit 5 dollar beli tiket waffle.. eh silap.. raffle... Majlis nih, walaupun start lambat ( lambat dekat 2 jam lak tu) penat aku mai awai.. tapi habih awai... anyway.. enjoy the pic.
